Nano needling also know as collagen induction therapy .Nano needling helps to increase the effectiveness and absorption of the product. Nano needling is safe and non invasive technique that involves pricking the skin and multiple time with ultrathin needles by creating thousands of microscopic channels , we can simultaneously deposit specifically serum into the upper layer of the epidermis helps to increase the effectiveness and absorption of the product and combat unwanted skin condition like wrinkles , acne , hyper pigmentation , fine lines and blemishes . This also increases product absorption to 97% which means the majority of the product will be delivered to its intended target and we can virtually eliminate product waste .

What is the Difference Between Nano-Needling and Microneedling?

Nano-needling stimulates collagen production in the skin by safely infusing active ingredients from your serum through tiny nano-channels. This is very similar, but less invasive than microneedling and allows up to 97% product absorption. This treatment combats fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation, and other skin blemishes through the transdermal delivery system for increased effectiveness of serums. Unlike microneedling, nano-needling does not require any numbing cream and will painlessly smooth the skins texture to leave your skin glowing by triggering your body’s self-rejuvenation process. The recommended nanoneedling length is .25mm.

Nano-needling addresses similar skin concerns as microneedling such as fine lines, hyperpigmentation and elasticity. The depth penetrated by the needling is the biggest difference between the two procedures. Nano-needling only punctures the first layer of the skin creating nano-channels, while microneedling penetrates into the deep dermis. If your skin care concerns include deep lines, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks or deep acne scars, then microneedling is recommended for you.

There is no downtime with nanoneedling and you won’t experience any redness or swelling as with microneedling.

Micro needling uses needles to create micro channels in the skin that stimulate the cells response to injury.Normal healing begins the moment of tissue injury.Blood components spill into the injury, causing platelets to come into contact with the cellular matrix. This triggers the release of clotting factors, growth factors, and several kinds kinds of collagen fibers.Phagocytosis occurs when neutrophils enter the area and remove foreign material, bacteria and damaged tissue.

Microneedling is recommended for deeper acne scars and lines, hair regrowth, stretch marks and hyperpigmentation as the deeper micro-injuries associated with microneedling trigger a more drastic repair response.Micro Needling is not recommended for people with skin cancer, pregnant, open lesions, a compromised immune system, on anticoagulants or blood thinners or severe rosacea.Microneedling can help with the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, improvement of stretch marks, minimize pore size and improve the skin texture and tone.It is also known to work really well with melasma ( pregnancy mask) as it does not use heat to to risk post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation.

STAGES OF HEALING

Day 1

Skin will be erythematous and flushed after treatment, depending on the intense of the treatment. Pinpoint bleeding may occur.

Do not apply makeup for at least 12 hours.

 Day 2

A red or pink hue persists like moderate sunburn.

Swelling and slight bruising may be more noticeable on the second day.

Minor scratches may be visible. Apply moisturizer as needed.

 Day 3

Skin can be pink or normal color.

Swelling subsides.

The skin can feel dry or feel tight.

A slight outbreak of acne or milia (tiny white bumps) is possible.

Light peeling usually occurs in about three days and will be replaced with brand new skin.

Both nano-needling & micro-needling address the same skincare concerns and they both use a needling pen to create micro-channels in the skin. The main difference between the two is the depth that the needles are able to penetrate into the skin.

Nano-needling only punctures the first layer of the skin (epidermis) while micro-needling penetrates into the deep dermis.

If you are concerned about fine lines & wrinkles, swelling, dark pigmentation or sagging skin, then nano-needling is for you. If your skin care concerns include deep wrinkles, hypo-pigmentation, stretch marks or deep acne scars, then micro-needling would be the treatment for that. By creating these micro-channels in the skin, it increases product absorption by 97% and encourages your body to rejuvenate itself.
